If you are running a small business from your home, you might not have the room or the budget to get the same computer networking tools that large businesses use. This does not mean that you can’t get what you need to compete, however. With a few frugal business decisions, you can have your business running at the same capacity of your larger competitors and only spend a fraction of what they do on networking.
If your business relies on website traffic, you will need a server. Unfortunately, the servers that are found in corporate offices can cost around $10,000. You can achieve a similar effect by renting additional desktop computers and linking them to form a network server. Doing this allows you to keep your data in a central location where only you have access.
Another option is Dedicated Server Rental space from an online server. This option is much more flexible in terms of storage space and cost, but your information is stored on a server that you have no physical access to.
Whatever your server needs are, there is a way to meet them and stay within your budget.
